Vaccinations

Your Vaccinations
Recommended vaccinations are administered at the same appointment wherever possible. Our clinical team ensures each vaccine is given safely and records it in your health notes.
Mild soreness at the injection site is normal and usually resolves within a day or two.
Your Documents
You leave with your vaccination record, yellow fever certificate (if applicable), malaria prescription, fit-to-fly letter if needed, and a written travel health advice leaflet.
Keep your yellow fever certificate safe , it is valid for life and may be required at border control.

Meningitis ACWY
Recommended for travel to sub-Saharan Africa's meningitis belt, Saudi Arabia for Hajj and Umrah, and certain university settings. Single-dose protection for most adults.
Japanese Encephalitis
Advised for travellers spending extended periods in rural areas of South and Southeast Asia, particularly during monsoon season. Course of two doses given over 28 days.
Rabies
Pre-exposure vaccination is recommended for travellers to regions where rabies is endemic and access to post-exposure treatment may be limited or delayed.
Cholera
An oral vaccine providing protection against cholera and travellers' diarrhoea for visits to areas with poor sanitation. Particularly relevant for aid workers and remote travellers.

We offer a comprehensive range including typhoid, hepatitis A and B, yellow fever, meningitis ACWY, Japanese encephalitis, rabies, and cholera. We also advise on and administer boosters for tetanus, diphtheria, and polio. The vaccines recommended will depend on your destination, itinerary, and medical history.
We recommend booking at least 6 to 8 weeks before departure. Some vaccines require multiple doses spaced over several weeks to be fully effective. However, if you are travelling at short notice, we can still help , some single-dose vaccines can be given right up to the day before travel.
This depends on your destination and the specific areas you will visit. During your travel health consultation, your doctor will assess the malaria risk for your itinerary and recommend the most appropriate regimen if required. We prescribe all major antimalarials including Malarone, doxycycline, and mefloquine.
Yes. We are an approved yellow fever vaccination centre and issue the internationally recognised certificate upon administration of the vaccine. The certificate is valid for life and may be required at border control for entry to certain countries.
